iPhone : The Easy Way to Freeing Up Storage Space on Your iPhone


Memory is full! That’s the annoying thing is often complained iPhone users with storage mediocre. Sometimes these conditions because too many caches and temporary files stored on the iPhone. If it is allowed continuous full impact will reduce the performance of your iPhone. It is advisable to frequently clear the storage space.

There are some easy ways to do:

1. Force Restart

The way this is often called a cold reset can help delete temporary files and cache. To run force restart, press and hold the power button and the home while until the Apple logo appears. It is advisable to perform a force restart once a week to be safe.

2. Clear Cache Through Settings

Some applications providing control to delete the cache via Settings. Only iOS does not differentiate between applications which provide such control, we must examine them one by one. Step-scarcity as follows:

3. Delete Cache Through Applications

As mentioned earlier, some applications do not provide control cache in Settings. They provide the setting in each application.

To delete the cache through the application generally can be done via Settings. For example Tweetbot, we go to Settings, then press one account. Then, press the Reset Account Cache.

4. Reinstall Applications

This way one will clean out storage space significantly. But before doing so make sure the data in it has been backed up somewhere else first. The steps as follows:

  • Press and hold an application icon on the Home screen. After the icons jiggle, press the X button located in the upper left corner of the icon to delete the application.
  • Go to the App Store and go to the Purchased. We can re-download previously installed applications, both free and paid.

5. Reset
This will remove all cache and makes the device a quick return. But before doing the reset, do backup through iTunes or iCloud.

Afterwards, go to Settings -> General -> Reset -> Erase All Content and Settings -> Erase iPhone. When the reset process is completed, install the required applications and synchronize with iTunes.

6. Applications
There are a number of applications that help us set up storage space on your iPhone. Some are worth a try in between PhoneExpander, PhoneClean, iFunBox, imazing and decipher Phone Cleaner.

7. Disable iOS Features

By disabling some features in iOS we can clear the storage space, some of which

  • Photo Stream, do Settings -> Photos & Camera -> My Photo Stream -> Delete.
  • Keep Normal Photo, how Settings -> Photos & Camera -> Keep Normal Photo, slide the button to the left.

In addition, there is no one to consider:

  • Deleting custom dictionaries.
  • Deadly high-quality voice in Voice Over.
  • Disabling system languages when not in use.
  • Limit Background App Refresh.
  • Delete an email account to remove the attachment.
  • In the Messages settings, select the option to not store photos and video attachments.
  • Recently Delete an album in the Photo app.
